About This Course
In partnership with Lifelong Learning Council, HackCARE is a Design Workshop for participants to hack and translate pain points in the area of CARE into a variety of design opportunities.
This workshop will commence with an insightful morning session by prominent speakers from various industries addressing CARE in 3 contexts: Self-Care, Community-Care and Environment-Care. It will then continue with an introduction of the design thinking methodology, and guide you through a range of interactive activities that enhance your creativity to build user-centric solutions.
You will learn how to analyse and unpack the complexities of existing products or services, create new behaviours, increase efficiency and identify new market opportunities in the context of CARE.
Key Takeaways of this workshop include:
- Applying the Design Thinking methodology to a wide range of contexts
- Understand users and solve their problems through design
- Work collaboratively with others to generate a wide variety of ideas
