About This Course
In partnership with Lifelong Learning Council, HackCARE is a public Design Workshop for participants to hack and translate pain points in the area of CARE into a variety of design opportunities.
The workshop will commence with an insightful morning session by prominent speakers from various industries addressing CARE in 3 contexts: Self-Care, Community-Care and Environment-Care. It will then continue with an introduction of the design thinking methodology, and guide you through a range of interactive activities that enhance your creativity to build user-centric solutions.
You will learn how to disrupt existing products or services, create new behaviours, increase efficiency or identify new market opportunities in the context of CARE.
A project supported by the LearnSG Seed Fund – Every Day, A Learning Day.
Highlights of this workshop include:
- How design thinking can be applied in a wide range of contexts
- Understand users and solve their problems through design
- Work collaboratively with others to generate a wide variety of ideas
- Translate ideas into quick tangible forms to encourage interaction & gather constructive feedback
Our course begins with the first step for generating great user experiences: understanding what people do, think, say, and feel. In this module, you’ll learn how to keep an open mind while learning.
