A Career Discovery Programme Tailored to Your School

C-Academy has been appointed by the National Youth Council (NYC) to deliver three career programmes for young adults through NYC’s Discover platform. For secondary schools, we design a career discovery programme around your students, timetable and goals, using the same EDIT Design Thinking® method and C-Academy’s Random Cards. Workplace readiness in an AI world

Students compare their own solution to a workplace challenge with ChatGPT’s, and practise the human skills AI cannot replace. This draws on Human Futures, C-Academy’s design thinking curriculum on AI for secondary schools.

Who Is This Career Discovery Programme For?

The Career Discovery Programme is designed for secondary school students across levels, though it works particularly well for Sec 2 to Sec 4 cohorts navigating subject selection, post-O-Level planning, or the transition into upper secondary. It is also well-suited for students in talent development tracks, student leadership programmes, or enrichment slots where the goal is genuine student development rather than content delivery.

The programme is not subject-specific. It does not require students to have any background in design or creative fields. What it does require is a willingness to think, make decisions, and engage — which, in C-Academy’s experience, most students are more than ready to do when the environment is right.

The C-Academy Creative Lab: Where the Programme Runs

All Career Discovery sessions can be hosted at C-Academy’s dedicated 1,800 sq ft Creative Lab at Mega@Woodlands. The space is purpose-built for design thinking: an open studio with mobile furniture and natural lighting, breakout rooms for focused group work, an outdoor commons for reflection and recharging, and a pantry area for longer sessions.
